because i feel i could be the utmost end to spam bots on zelaron?

I would like you to explain this, please. Think of it as the sspeech you have to give in front of your class, telling them why you should be elected Class President.

And just for some statistics - today I deleted twelve spam posts and banned three spammers. On the fifth, it was two spammers and ten posts. Between the fifth and today, someone else deleted three advertising posts and I assume they banned the advertisers (two of them), and on the fourth I delivered the cold mouse click of justice to two spammers who racked up twelve posts. All the spam over the past week seems to have followed the same general formula - a post with a story, ending in an ad for game gold. They often start with "bump and lurk".

Obviously those are only the ones I know about. The other staff members will have deleted whatever they found and banned whoever posted them.

We seem to have periods of quiet followed by a couple of weeks of spam and advertisements.

I figured they might just deliberate amongst the rest of the Staff and go from there, that's why I asked.

well, as moderator of the th section i have myself also deleted spam within minutes / hours of its posting, the second time i left the box checked that said delete all other posts by this member assuming it was only directed to the th section, however it might seem to completely effect this users capabilities.

I sit on this website growing fatter and fatter as the days go on, the most excersise i get is a wiggle of the joystick on my xbox controller and a quick reach to the f5 button. I havent seen a single spam bot outside of the th section meaning either the current moderators have it on lockdown or only moderators can see the spam. Either way, i would be ready to strike within a moments notice, and can more then occupy the time that you guys are asleep, or should be.

Can I be nominated for not so powerful moderator?

I just want to be the moderator of the 'Tech News and Help' and 'RPG Maker' forums. I plan to release some programming and RPG Maker tutorials soon.

I normally don't get on a lot on weekends when my girlfriend's in. We don't see each other aside from weekends so she normally gets them. However, during the week I get on daily unless there's some crazy circumstances.

How come you put yourself in the race if nobody has nominated you lol If you go by activity, I've been here longer than you have and have I think close to 100% activity Good thing I don't care about who becomes a moderator neither wanting to become one.

uh, does your profile not say that you joined april of 08? kaz has been here since '06, even before that with different accounts. if anything kaz looks better than you as a mod because he DOES have 100%, instead of being kinda close to it, and he's been here 2 years longer than you, unless your profile is incorrect. not that im promoting him as a mod because i'd rather him get off his ass than have another reason to stay on it. i personally would like to see dev or tr as a mod. they tend to keep situations neutral, are active members and have been here for a while.

id like to see thanatos over d3v only because ive had my moment with thanatos and we got over it and can almost assume we are buddies now? thats how men work - you tear each other down then work to build each other back up, so that when you aquire your position you had before you are good friends .

d3v althought neutral now has had his very controversial days back when, so actually he shows alot of promise in his ability to mature and change.

I think the top canidates should explain what they can bring to the forum, what they can contribute.

I'm not really sure who I'd pick. I like Jessifer a lot and she'd make a good mod if she was continually active and steady.

Earlier Chruser made a thread to nominate someone for new Supreme Moderator, im going to withdrawal myself nominated status for the reason that, I don’t really want it. GLG wants to be moderator of the Game Design section, who is fighting him for that position? No one? Then give it to him. Let him excel at what he is a good at, which is why I am now asking to me moderator of the Gaming Forum. Some of you might know I love my games. I enjoy all aspects to them, they are the imagination I never had. With that being said, I’m now going to copy and paste this from MSWord to Zelaron, and await your discussion.

I'd say Thanatos, I would like to apply for sports forum mod though.

Honestly, if I were a Mod it'd actually give me a reason to stay around when things get slow.

My nominations, though delayed (I spent time actually thinking about it), are Dev, -Spector-, and WKFF. If Kagom were here I'd nominate him. But he's not, so I won't.

Thanatos, because he has a level head about his shoulders. -Spector- because even through his haze of drug binges, still has a higher intelligience capacity than the majority of members here.

I don't believe a newly unbanned member such as D3V should be given a position of power quite yet. As we know, he could possibly abuse it and we could see mod wars between K_A and D3V.

I think the core of who might actually do something good for the boards has been nominated. Should be fun to see the outcome.

Since we are saying these things, I would love to be the mod of the D2 and D3 forums. Diablo , D2, and LOD are three of my favorite games even and I still play them even though I had to download a lot of software to play it on my comp.
