Once a chick gets pregnant, wether the kid is kept or not, it is still up to both "parents" to be there for each other and what not. They say getting an abortion is an emotionally taxing thing, especially if either parent wishes to keep the kid and the other is against it. So I think you should still go, if even to show that you are a responsible person that is willing to take action for your part in this turn of events.

As far as sleeping with another dude, it sounds to me like the other dude completely blew her off. So, she figured she would turn to the person she could trust. When you asked her if she wanted you to go with her, she probably took it as "Oh, jeez... now I suppose you want me to take you down to get tested..." unto which she probably felt like shit, like neither man wanted her. And in today's society, whether you are gorgeous or not, being a single parent is almost guaranteed to land you in the poor house.

I think what you should do, because it sounds like you are willing to take responsibility for the kid, is ask your parents if they would be there to help you, should a kid come up unexpectedly. Have her ask her parents as well. This way, based on their reactions, you would know if you would need to seek some sort of financial help. Of course, this is considering either of your jobs pays about minimum wage. If you feel you can be financially self sufficient, more power to you. Just know that the first, maybe year to a year and a half, is going to be mainly you bringing home the bacon, while she watches Jr. Or could be vice versa after as few as 6 months.


I guess now you will be more careful as to how much sex you have...
