Nominate a new Supreme Moderator

Eh, Are you implying that having the moderator tag somehow magically attracts new members? Because if you are, you are wrong. The only way we are going to get new members is to suggest new idea's, present them, and then act upon them. If a bran new member showed up and in his opening post said he knows how to increase the activity tenfold and then does it, does he deserve a moderator tag? The entire moderator essence is really only there because Chruser and WW can't be online 24/7. If they could then they would have no need for any moderators. Because they can't they aquired the assistance of Yawgmoth, Lenny, and that other guy. Yawgmoth and the other guy have shown little concern for the state of this forum. While Lenny is showing his true colors and actually doing things for this forum.

He is telling you your basically only going to be given this position to control the spam.

I'm not saying you have to draw in members, and I'm not a nominee for the biggest retard of the year award, so it's obvious by changing a title doesn't bring new members in. I'm saying, you should use your "power/privledges" towards good and promote the forums and new ideas, while motivating existing good ideas..

In reality, someone with less responsibility could spend more time promoting something then someone with more responsibility.

ie. D3v gets new Supreme Mod, and is asked to watch from 3-4pm for spam bots, as it is apparent that they strike durring those times.
Kazilla who isnt weighed down with mindless spam control visits other sites freely, and posts knowing he doesn't have to worry about missing a spam bot.

Moderator has nothing to do with activity, promotion, or demotion. It is a title with a fancy saying when broken down says, "Hey! I enforce teh rules!"

Now, like I said earlier. It would be nice for someone to take our words straight to the staff. Any member can do this though so, im still unsure about that subject. I have posted about three posibilities in order to clean up or increase activity within the gaming section. Should this qualify me as Supreme Moderator because, I haven't seen many other suggestions recently. (I dont possess a cocky tone when saying this, if you know of some recent suggestions please link them)

Really its a matter of preference. Imagine a world where everyone hated how the English talked. Lenny would get thrown around three different ways from Sunday. Who cares how they talk, as long as they get the job done. If you got a 1337 speaking moderator that actually does it well, and follows the rules. What does it matter?

.. You make it sound like clicking 2-3 times per account and eliminating the issue is this huge complicated, elaborate problem that requires a multi-cabinent team to enforce the stellar forum-interactive police state. It's really not a big deal. Now like I said, I really think a Sup Mod/Mod should be there more than just a spam-filter. They should be there to help their specific forum out, or the boards in general. If you want to keep arguing, please make a new thread and i'll be happy to take sides in there and let everyone else deliberate on what they think a Moderator/Sup Mod should be, for these boards.

In my post, the proper grammar thing and spelling is important, because if someone in a position of power can't bring together a sentence, I wouldn't trust his judgement on much else. Obviously, there are people still in school that are learning, or just don't care, as you stated. But when someone's posts consist of 90%: "Te'h Lo:LERzka,t,eZORS!!1!" and 10%: "BANNED, I LOVE MM'BOP!!1!!1 Ddo,'t dis:like HAnsEn AGEN!1!!" I think that speaks volumes of their character.

Something I forgot in my "CON" argument: I am not very active in much of the rest of the forum. I occasionally hit up the video game sections, entertainment sections, but I tend to stay in the "General" section. Also, I can't contribute to sports that much...
