Build best PC under a budget

I had a friend who puts his own together and bought all his parts from online companys, it was the bomb for a few months and then things started going wrong, cause he didn't know what he was doing, plus no warrentys...

im leaning toward WW's config, just change the processor to athlon 64 2800 and it'll be set at around $614........oh god + shipping =( gonna be like $700

they seem to be the same, yet the one on top is 20 bucks cheaper?

The video card I recommended is faster than a 9600xt.

And all those things are on newegg, just look for them.

The one on the bottom has firewire.
