The way I see it, people that are against Kerry because of KerryÂ’s incompetence and incoherent manner of handling everything (especially his presidential campaign)
First off the flip flopping.
Beside voting for war and but against funding itÂ…
Last month, Kerry said that even if he’d known that no weapons of mass destruction would be found in Iraq, he still would have voted to let Bush capture Saddam. Apparently, although he was in favor of giving Bush the power to attack Saddam he didn’t want him to “use” it.
Kerry says Iraq was “the wrong war in the wrong place at the wrong time” though he also says it was right to hold Saddam accountable and the world is better without him.
Now Kerry says America should draw the distinction between the authority to use force and actually using it. He says Bush “went to war without a plan to win the peace.” But he voted for Operation Iraqi freedom. And a few weeks ago he said that he would do it again…
This proves that he canÂ’t make a decision and stick with it.
Secondly Kerry doesnÂ’t know whatÂ’s important in America as well as his campaign.
Kerry spoke about Vietnam instead of unemployment, Iraq instead of taxes, and 9/11 instead of healthcare.
And the worst mistake of all might have been his argument during the thousandth American death in Iraq.
Kerry complained that the main problem which they have been making sacrifices is too expensive. He complained “The $200 billion that we’re not investing in education, health care, and job creation here at home.”
He said “$200 billion for Iraq, but they tell us we can’t afford after school programs for our children.” “$200 billion for Iraq, but they tell us we can’t afford health care for our veterans.”
If Kerry wants to argue that we shouldnÂ’t have gone to war for what ever reason, he may choose the failure to find the WMDÂ’s, the difficulties after the end of the major combat operations, the recruitment of more terrorists, and the tragic death toll-fine. But he doesnÂ’t and because his effort to have it every which way as he somehow made it into his partyÂ’s nomination has caused him to take eight different positions on the war so far. Through KerryÂ’s argument, he is trying to attack Bush from the right but he canÂ’t due to the depressing results of the Democratic national convention. The democratic base is getting impatient and Kerry might even lose their votes if he gets on their bad side.
John Kerry is trying to please everyone all the time and it is obviously not working out.
