What gear for my merc
Reply

I am getting an Act 2 nm merc then I have to level him. Cuz I can't make d2jsp or whatever run without one. So far I have a bonehew, dureil shell, and no helm. If you have something better let me know. Also Celaron if you aren't using your UsEast Ladder sorc, can I get my eth shaft back?

I'm using a shitty Gaze, Shaft, and the Unique Cryptic Axe on my Ladder Sorc's Merc, and he rarely ever dies. Rarely ever. That is some crappy gear for a merc, and it still works.

I'd say Eth Gaze with Ber, Eth Levi with Ber, and Eth Bonehew with Amn Amn.

Well that's what you can shoot for.

The eth levi is a real must as the str req goes down a lot when it's eth.

Until you get the good gear, here's some cheaper gear:

Andy's Visage With P Skull
or
Crown of Thieves with P Skull
or
Stealskull with P Skull

Levi with -15req jewel and whatever else mods you can find
If you have Duriel, I wouldn't upgrade it until you get enough for at least a regular Levi (if not eth).

Anything in here: http://www.battle.net/diablo2exp/ite...polearms.shtml
or just a good rare polearm with Amn.
