That wasn't a "horrific piece of shit story" that’s sad. And tragic stories like that ALWAYS bring down God! Even my boss. He has been married for 28 years and when his wife divorced him for a shorter and uglier guy. He said “whatever” with life. Now he is buying whatever he wants in life and doesn’t even believe in God anymore.
I know other people who has a much worse life and STILL believe in God. Those type of people sees another tomorrow. People with the opposite mentality usually live there life as if there was no tomorrow and hurt them selves in the longer run, which I hope that no one else will do.
About 90 percent of the bums I talk to don’t believe in God. (and we wonder why they are in that position) BELIEVEING IN God gives you a type of limit of what you do. It is like a “common scene” that tell you what is good and what is bad. Without it there would be chaos
