A bot simplifies a task and repeats it over and over. Example: Pindle bot takes the fastest route to pindle and killes him, makes a new game, and does it again.

A Headhunter hunts down the person who pked you and gives you their ear in exchange for an item, if I am not mistaken. Example: A lvl 90 comes in a pks your lvl 75 and is like,"n00b n00b you suck!" and keeps killing you. You then hire someone to go in with their awesome dueler and they find them and kill them many times over and give you the ear.

Ok that helps some but about the bot...like do you need the mf you want to use and does your character that you are using for a bot need to be able to kill them...Is your character "immortal" durring bot runs....?

No your char is not immortal during bot runs, and yes mf helps in bot runs if you intend on finding godly items, and uhh yeah your char needs to be able to kill whichever boss you make your bot run on...

It does not make your character 'immortal' you can still be hurt, and possibly die, but the odds are seriously decreased.

Or increased, as the case may be.

A bot just does what it is told. It cannot 'think' on its own, so it has no ability to adapt to circumstances.

Due to the minimal AI that D2 uses for its monsters, it's usually not a big deal that it cannot adapt, as the monsters behave pretty much the same every time. There is, however, the rare occasion that a monster can act a little differently, and do something unanticipated that could result in a character death.

If you were invulnerable during bot runs, either A.) Blizzard supports botting or B.) There would be no point to dueling, as everyone would be exploiting whatever bug made bot users invulnerable.

Run drops are completely random. Nothing regarding your character will change the drop probability. A person with 1000 mf is jus tas likely to get a VEX rune as a person with 0 mf.

The way item drops work is like this:

MF% affects Quality of the item (Low Quality, Normal, Superior, Magical, Rare, Set, Unique)

Character Level determines Item Type (Normal, Exceptional, Elite) and magical bonuses (Magical Prefixes and Suffixes).

Runes just drop randomly. It's all just drop% with Runes, and there's no way to increase your rune drop rate.
