school is important but the way teachers teach now dayz is horrible. They could take a tenth of the time they do and teach us as much but they take 20 days on one freakin thing. If they taught right it would go so much faster but instead they have us doin pointless assignments. It's not like they're worksheets and they're practice either they r just utterly pointless assignments.

greek gods were a wild bunch, eh?

I think its somewhat important, but Im not sure its all as terribly important as you are made to believe......in a year of actually working I could probably learn as much as its taken two years to learn in school

the reason you go to school to learn it, is that people at work dont want to have to tell you what to do for a year

I think that school isnt important but getting a diploma is. I went to two years of high school then took the CHSPE and got a diploma and didnt have to goto school anymore. But when people say the teaching suck I say thats not true... its the students who making learning a bitch... I know I was one of them, In my match class as a sophmore I didnt do any but interrupt the class and ruin it for the other students. Sure it was fun and all but thinking back I wish I wouldve just been normal instead of trying to be the class clown.

School also teaches about Disipline, and orginization. All which you have to be good at then you enter the work force.

it doesnt "teach" disipline or organization......its just structured so that if you want to do good youd better learn disipline and organization

skool is alright and it is fun, and interesting, when you don't have to deal with the gay shit and where else you gonna get so many fine girls to mack your game too...

If only education was the top thing on my mind

the funnest thing I have ever done was getting high and going to school (the good ole days)

1(x)+5-(-43)=-47x?

1(x) sounds pointless enough, since no-one who would be making an equation would ever put it like that.

Besides, there are lots of jobs where you will have some use for your math skills. For instance, if you're an engineer, you'd have to calculate a lot of things, such as the electricity in circuits. If you're going to be an arthitect, it's vital to know some formulae's in order to get the angles of a church ceiling right.

Programmers, and even designers working on a computer will need some heavy math skills in order to create something useful. So no, you will have a lot of use for the things you need in school as well, whether you like it or not.

ah. I fact, an architect is what Im going to school to be.....and....while you do need to know some engineering (basic engineering....we leave the real engineering to the engineers, who need a LOT more math) most anything youll ever need to know can be looked up

as for the angles of a church ceiling.....it can be whatever you darned well please.....taking into consideration local code, federal code, the elements, etc etc.....which can all be looked up, hehehe

1(x)+5-(-43) = -47x

x + 5 - (-43) = -47x

x + 5 + 43 = -47x

x + 48 = -47x

48 = -47x - x

48 = -48x

1 = -x

-1 = x
