Yo beatboxing is fun. If you can really get a good rhythm down and some good sounds with lots of variances and switchups while still maintaining the original beat you can pull off some wicked shit, you should post up somehow what you can do so far, like record it so others can hear that shit man...

Actually, Audacity is a great program i'm very familiar with if you want any help with it just give me a shout. I've actually been getting good with mixing alongside this program called FruityLoops which is used for 'music engineering'. It's pretty simple to use and you can make your own music loops, beats, hits, drumloops, etc.
