Need free x11 client

As the title says, I'm looking for a free x-windows client for win32. I've tried googling it but all I get is clients for random apps that support x and win32...

Have you tried X-deep or Cygwin?

Um, Cygwin is a whole shit ton of stuff. Could you point me to the specific part that is an X-windows client?

Ehh, I'm hoping I'm pointing you to the right thing: http://www.pexus.com/

That's for x-deep, which is an x-server for Windows, but I think that's what you're looking for -- something to run X on a windows machine that will allow you to connect to a Linux machine over the network and then use the X-clients on your Linux box? You'll have to set up XDM or KDM on your Linux machine.

Out of curiosity, why not VNC?

Correction: You can use XDM or GDM. KDM, for some reason, doesn't work for me.

Here's a screenshot for you: (nothing pretty, just a very simple connection from Windows to my Linux box running KDE at the moment)

Out of curiosity, is that what you were looking for?
