Question Skills (Bleh)
Reply

Alright, this is starting to tick me off a bit. I have my hero set as a mage A (RM2K3) His original skill is set to Fire 1 at level 1. Although when i try to give him another skill at level 1 when i'm in battle it doesn't even show up in my magic list. Can anyone help me out?

Check to make sure the skill type is "Normal", to the right of the Name field. If the skill type is "Magic", for example, it's a different archtype by default, so it won't show up under the Skill command, which by default shows all Normal / Switch / Teleport / Escape skills.

You can mess around with skill types in the Database -> Battle Layout tab by hitting the "Set" button to the right of the commands. You can then define archetypes or delete them. If the type is Skill Subset, it'll act as its own magic menu, so if you want to separate Summons from the rest of the skills, for example, you can define that here and they'll be in whatever menu you decide to throw them in.
