I was wondering if any of you can recommend good music from the 80's?

Pft. Where to start? The 80s was, in my opinion, THE best decade for music.

Slayer - Show No Mercy, Hell Awaits, Reign in Blood, Seasons in the Abyss, South of Heaven

Metallica - Ride the Lightning, Master of Puppets

Anthrax - Fistful of Metal

Megadeth - Peace Sells...But Who's Buying?

Iron Maiden - Powerslave, The Number of the Beast

There's too much for me to remember...and probably a ton I'm unaware of. Wait for Raziel, if he ever looks at this thread.

If that's not your thing, pick up Blondie's "Autoamerican", "Best of Blondie" or "The Hunter." Blondie's best albums, unfortunately, were in the 70s.

...what can I say? Blondie infected me.

I've found I don't care much for Anthrax. But I'm looking for almost any kind of music and I will definitely check out some of the aforementioned groups/songs.

So you want pop, nu-wave, and hair metal?

Pretty much. I've downloaded only a couple of songs. Night Ranger, Tears for Fears, REO Speedwagon, etc.

You would probably like Parallel Lines or Eat to the Beat by Blondie.

Some of their top songs:

One Way or Another
Denis
Heart of Glass
Rapture
Good Boys

Also, look for their song "Maria".

Also, it be a good idea to look for the GTA Vice City Music Box Set. It houses great songs like Laura Branigan's "Self Control", The Buggles "Video Killed the Radio Star", Megadeth's "Peace Sells", Iron Maiden's "Two Minutes to Midnight" and many, many others.

Yah, anything from the GTA:Vice City Soundtrack is good. It has a wide collection of some of the best songs of the decade.
