You heard me. The question: assuming Grav and Slaynish's meat were prepared and served the same way, which would taste better?
Do not let your judgement be clouded by your love/hate for either one. Make your decision on the context of scrumptuous flavor alone.
So, who would you pick? Who's cuisine will reign supreme!?
HOW THEY ARE COOKED (Beef stew a la Slaynish/Grav):
The meat is marinated for 2 hours with a mixture of lemon juice, thyme, salt, pepper, and rosemary. The meat is cut into cubes, and fried until lightly browned on the outside in a dutch oven. Red wine is used to deglaise the pan after cooking the meat. We add a little olive oil, and some chopped onions, celery, carrots, and tomatoes. After those have cooked for a few minutes, we add some beef stock (or preferably, stock made from the rest of their body). We put the cooked meat back in the pan, and add a touch of fresh thyme, pepper, parsely, rosemary, garlic, and corn starch. Bring the heat down to simmer, and let cook for 3 hours.
