This is the problem, I got this logitech mouse (normal, not optical or wireless) and the sensitivity is just horrible, on the highest sensitivity mode it still needs to have the mouse move all the way from 1 side of the mousepad to the other to reach the other side of the screen.
So I tried screwing around with the settings a little but now its even worse. Whenever the desktop is displayed and everything else is minimized I need to move the mouse 3x to the other side of the mousepad to gt the mouse pointer from one side of the screen to the other...but once I open up a window or game, its faster again, but still fucking slow
hmm I restarted my computer and it seems to be fine again... But I think I have discovered the problem, I have 2 mouses 1 optical wireless thing and the old one that I'm currently using.
The thing is the keybaord and mouse are both wireless and connect to 1 single hub. Even if I'm not using the mouse it will still and try to connect, so I put the batteries out and put the mouse away. Apparently my sister or some1 else had used it again causing the 2 mouses to fuck eachother up or something.
Maybe you need to clean off the 'Mouse internals'. You could use a tooth pick and scrape off any excess garbage on the sliders and rollers inside of it.

Oh damn I tought I'd fixed it but it just happened again . I clean this mouse every 2 days (rollers and stuff) so that cant be a problem. I'm just going to download new drivers so maybe that will help.
Actually I would say fuck it and get a new mouse. You can get yourself a optical mouse for like $25 bucks. Optical mice are "in" this season according to Cosmo anyways.
