any one who if sega's back they say that sega will be back on mark 2005

I highly doubt it, one of the consoles bought out the rights to most of their games didn't they? I wanna say X-Box.

I Don't think they have a chance to make it back to the console wars because all the other companys has more money to do research on the consoles. So sega will die sooner or later hopefully not though.

Sega, i believe, has stated that it will never again make its own consol. ANd its for the best. They will never be able to keep up with nintendo or sony, or even microsoft for that matter.

They will be making games only for the rest of their exsistance.

Actually Sega just went through a major merger with Sammy, and they're going to start making Pachinko machines together. I'm not fucking joking.

Who the hell is Sammy.

And what are Pachinko machines.

And why on earth would they do this..?

I remember dreamcast, that was a kick ass system, but I don't know, I sorta think sega could keep up since they sold so much with the dreamcast.

Actually, I think for the most part the dreamcast was a big flop.

Dreamcast was good. But not good enough. It got whaled on by sony, and nintendo. They picked a horrible realease date for it. If they had released it earlier, who knows what would have happened.

Well, the DC had a few huge problems going for it.

1) The release date, as Sov already mentioned. They released it far too early, and in order to try and keep up with competitor sales, they had to drop the price so low that it looked like a bargain bin console. Really damaged the Dreamcast's image.

2) The game selection was pretty bad. Yeah, it had Soul Calibur, Skies of Arcadia and some apparently badass football games. That won't keep an entire console alive for very long.
