I just threw in lots of stuff to see how the glass worked with it.... it took 2 hours to render and I did it in LW7.0

The big glass is very nice. The only thing it could use us some better caustics that look real, not a huge, semi-shadowy away from it. And for some reason, I'm suspecting that overly lit, chaotic marble is what stole your rendering time.

My computer also had been on all day and I have rendered other stuff, thing my VM was low... and my ram is only 256DDR atm.
