I heart Pixy Stix
Reply

My brother recently bought Pixy Stix to hand out for his birthday. I haven't had one for such a long time so when I ate it again I realized how frigging awesome they are. They remind me of when I was a kid, at sports games I would always buy the two foot long ones and eat it all day. Orange is my favorite flavor.

So I'm wondering, what kind of candy did you guys eat a lot as kids? Along with Pixy Stix, I remember Push Pops and Ring Pops, along with these one kind of candy called Lotsa Fizz, which were 10 cents for five at my local drugstore.

I've recently cut all candy from my diet. I haven't touched any of that crap in about two months, and I intend to keep it that way. Not because I need to get on a healthier diet, but because I don't like the idea of my teeth falling out of my skull in 20 years.

However, back in my candy days, I was a fan of Nerds, Twizzlers Pull n' Peel and those "Bug City" tarts that came in the plastic bug jar.

The drummer in my band snorts far worse than that. Salt, pepper, chilli powder and Lemon Pico to be precise.

I love Pixie Stix. Like Sinbad said "Koolaid in a straw." I like the big ones better. They have a whole lot more sugar, but I go down to BudgetMart and buy a couple packs of pixie stix every once and awhile.

I used to always get Nerds. And things where you dip a candy stick into powder, and lick it off..then eat the stick...those were good. :P

My friend snorts shrimp ramen. That's GG on the "Name a dumbass you know" contest.
