Some things were good about, some weren't. Overall, I think the Playstation was better at the time, but nonetheless, n64 had it's high points.

everyone "rules" the facility. Its the best map ever created in all of multiplayer gaming.
The n64 was ok, but the controller was god awful for first person shooters and platforming. Conkers Bad Fur Day was the most genious thing ever though.

The Temple was good, but it couldn't match the Bunker or the Facillity. The Basement was the worst though....



I liked the N64 controller. It was simple, not difficult at all. So I liked it.

The N64 was a great console. Sure, Rare was the group responsible for 80% of the kickass games, but I would have owned one even without Banjo-Kazooie or Jet Force Gemini.

And Ocarina of Time was certainly not the only reason to own an N64. Majora's Mask was approximately 50,000 times better.
