First of all, (Anat + Eval)/2 = Defensive Wrestling, like it did during UO:R? Because I seem to be getting hit a lot when my weapon is off and I'm 100 in each. Personally, I think it should because it helps diversify templates a lot more.
Secondly, does Alchemy add to explosion potion damage, as it did during UO:R as well?
Thirdly, does mindblast do damage based on the difference between your highest and lowest stat?
That's all I have right now. I've been looking forward to PvPing in a UO:R environment for the longest time. AoS ruined it for me.
MB is not as strong as OSI shards. When my dexer 100 100 25 gets hit he takes like 15 damage or so. I don't know if this is intentional. I don't think that anat+eval is used like that. If it was my med eval fencer would be way to overpowered. Everytime I disarm to cast I get hit. I don't think alchy does potion damage.
Well, we could ruin the shard and make pre casting also. This way my fencer can pre cast exp and run up with a tribal spear, para blow poison harm EB win. =[
I sure hope mind blast does more damage with 100 100 25; it'll encourage warriors to use magery if they have more intelligence and maybe they'll actually use magery instead of running off the screen everytime you cast.

This way my fencer can pre cast exp and run up with a tribal spear, para blow poison harm EB win. =[ Even with potions that is hardly liveable unless you resist all the spells. The harm will interupt the g heal you are casting while you cure with a pot, if you chug a g heal potions you get an extra twenty health. If I have hit you twice with spear you have taken about 40 damage, if you have 90 HP then my exp poison harm EB will do 80 damage. 40+80=120 120-20 ( heal pot ) = 100 if you get an in mani in you are still going to only have like 10 health, so poison harm EB again and you die no matter what. The shard is good the way it is. Some things from OSI have been taken away while others have been added the whole shard is balanced now.
I'm pretty sure Majere has things fixed up decently. Now I can NOT say for sure how it is here, but there WAS anat/eval=defenseve wrestling on Autumn. Alchemy did more explo dmg aswell. Duno for sure on Acropolis though. We'll hafta wait to see what the big man has to say

Sure you could do that, and with my set up, I'd have protection casted already, so you wouldn't interrupt me frequently, you'd miss 50% of the time to my 100 eval/anat, I'd be applying a bandage, I'd hit my greater heal/cure pot macro, and then I'd hit my explo/explo pot macro, and then cast ebolt, which all would hit at the same time and possibly kill you.
Ok, so I can chase you around wait till you have attacked me, using my pots magery and heal wands with protect to defend , PC EB hit you enough so that you hav eonly about 40HP left and are para blowed, release EB. I give you that you could survive, but a GOOD precasting med eval fencer will beat a GOOD pure mage in the end.
Err, and 2 explos don't hit at once sir. =] I'll heal after the first one hits, pc in mani wait till exp eb or your pot hit release heal use pot depending on your next spell I'll either g heal or in mani. I'd like to fight you because you don't sound like you sux. =]
(Anat + Eval)/2 = Defensive Wrestling? Yes
Alchemy add to explosion potion damage? Yes
Mindblast do damage based on the difference between your highest and lowest stat? Yes
Pre-casting? No
I'm breaking the limit inside you, stop begging someone to hide you. I'm breaking the limit inside you, don't run away, bring it on straight to me!

I Win.

One explo, and then chuck an explosion potion while my ebolt was going off. I had it timed on OSI so I did an average of around 85 damage.
Anyway, my questions have been answered. Thanks a lot.
Pre-cast didn't overpower OSI. Sure, some templates did really well, but they always were countered. My friend had a tank mage, like the old times, but with anat instead of wrestle. He'd precast FS, hit with hally and then let precast go, doing about 85 damage with that too. I knew some macers who did really well too.
Anyway, I don't care one way or the other if pre-cast ever goes in, just saying that fencer hybrids or fencer tank mages weren't invincible.
the alchemy bonus is marginal - explo pots do 28-32 even w/o alchy
MB damage is HALFED form osis becuase RUO ppl knew it was gimpy as fuck to begin with
i do fine with my fencer mage w/o precast.. in fact i win 95% of the time.. no precast is fine with me cuase then i dont have to worry about being prepared to defend against it
hell ive found i do better with my no precast fence mage with not even gm magery or resist.. than my 7x scribe/stun
PS - Drithe, once I find myself a full spellbook, and make enough money to get up to GM Magery, I wouldn't mind giving it a whirl. I haven't PvPed in a while, and I kinda wanted to GM my alchemy before PvPing, but that'll take years
