TV Series Recommendations?

Fair warning, the series does not follow the story of the books at all. There are very loose connections, but a lot of the material is unique to the series/books. I've read the book series as well. Having read the books, the series was still really good IMO. The actor that plays Richard isn't the best, IMO, but the actors that play Kahlan and Zeddicus are both superb.
