For those that feel like I do about hip hop

Before the advent of youtube and other more unfiltered social media I would say you were wrong. Even after youtube, myspace, etc. and all the countless people that reach out through these media, we're still presented with a few cherry picked musicians out of the thousands and thousands to become famous. We pick which of the artists pushed upon us are famous for the most part.
