Honestly, why do you have such a problem with activity in the forum? Answer me that before you get all high and mighty with yourself.

The problem with activity is that, currently, there's just nothing to keep people visiting regularly. Back in the days before me (BL, I calls them) there was Diablo - indeed, the boards were created mainly as a Diablo board, I think. After that there was the odd little thing, such as RPGMaker (which is where I come in - nearly six years ago! Gods I feel old), but now there's nothing. In a couple of years we'll have another spike as Starcraft 2 and Diablo 3 steal the lives and souls of millions, but until then we'll be left languishing in a pit of inactivity.

I don't play Starcraft or Diablo, and I continue to come. I think it's the fact nobody welcomes others in willingly or politely. And as you said, when those games come out, they'll log in once or twice, and post only in those forums...but that's pretty much the extent of the activity now. The only difference will be a few hundred more random posts from people a day. I hardly call that activity. I meant with the little activity now. You seem to have a problem with two people having a little meaningless conversation on a worn out thread. I wouldn't classify that as spam. It's not hurting anyone, or is it?

Also, what does BL stand for?
