All you have to do is click "Watch on YouTube" at the end. In Mozilla, it opens in a new tab by default, which is nifty. I think I could see someone wanting people to view it on youtube for the simple fact that it makes them more likely to view your other videos or subscribe to you. Beyond that, I can't see much reason, unless it's YouTube doing it and not the users.

Just use the [ youtube ] tags and remove everything including the equals sign and everything before that in the link.
