I think I might be manic depressive. I remember my break-up with my last GF was pretty nuts for me. At first I became obsessive and depressed. It felt like I had gone insane. Then I became angry and plotted to kill her and her new "friend". Then I just felt like I wasn't even alive. It was like I had gone so crazy I didn't know I was me. Then I got over it.

Same here. 2 years, 4 months.

Except I didn't plot to kill her. Just her boyfriend/my bestfriend. I learned about several plants that, when treated right, produce toxins that can EASILY kill someone. Just spike the drink, watch them choke.

HOWEVER, (as a disclaimer) I don't condone murder and I won't teach you how to manufacture [EDIT] or the other poisons I studied. And the dude and I are cool now.

Jealousy wasn't my motivation, though. There was a lot of shit that he did to his ex-fiance. I don't wish to go into it but he even admits he did some shit worth his execution.

Okay here let me break this down. You don't feel as good as the other guy, obviously. When you start finding things wrong with who they've moved on with it's most definitely jealousy, what else could it be? The fact that you can't get over her causes you to find excuses and the best way for you to do is shift blame from you, which you have done, and blame the guy she has chosen over you. It's over.

But, avoiding that topic, I think it started as minor Jealousy, until a real reason appeared, which he proceeded to want him dead, only because he knew that her boyfriend was scum.
