What our d2 section should look like.

It's nice to see you trying now that we're having discussions about new mods being selected, but Diablo 2? Why don't you focus this energy on setting up stuff for Diablo 3, and the future of these boards, instead of dwelling on the past.

I created these posts along after i saw the results. To say im only doing this for a Supreme Moderater position is retarded. If anything the Video Game moderator is what im interested in.

Diablo 2 is still an active game, which is why in my "Clean up the gaming section" thread i suggested it remain its own forum with subsections, or perhaps it was remain a subsection. d2 still has it's gamers.

diablo 3 is very hard to focus on, i figured diablo 3 is best met with a sticky in the "PC section". It really doesnt merit its own forum atm because we dont know hardly anything about it. Maybe when it gets closer to its release ill probably create something for it.

When warhammer makes it's debue(sp) in 3 days ill be sure to create some sort of forum tree for that as well. So far it looks like only WW and myself are interested in the game, so currently i would saw nei to it being hosted? More likely to have its own forum like WoW does.

the gaming section is the future of these boards. It was the past, present is kind of well... and the future!

Plus I would like the D3 mod. I don't care about a sup mod position. That would be to much power. I would just like to mod the forum that deals with the new version of my favorite game ever. Don't get me wrong, Kazilla would work just fine too, I just would like the opportunity. Maybe if he was the Gameing mod and I was the D3 under him?

Prove your worth and you'll be considered. The FAQ states:

Becoming a moderator for a specific forum is usually rewarded to users who are particularly helpful and knowledgeable in the subject of the forum they are moderating.

The D3 forum "mod-ship" is free game at the moment, and will be until it comes out. When it is released, then if the forum needs a mod he who is most helpful and knowledgeable will be chosen. Staff positions aren't given out to whoever asks first.

I more or less asked just to let you guys know I was interested. I did read the FAQ before I asked, and you saw in the TTTS thread that I know it's frowned upon.. kinda. In any case, I will continue to construct some new things for the video game section. See what else I can spit out.
