Supreme Moderator Nomination Discussion Thread

i dont understand the hate you have for spector... how can you moderator that which requires no moderation? to my knowledge the diablo forums died along time ago, with the occasional random 1st time poster saying, Z0mG nE1 nkWO pubic DOOPS!.... He could moderate the shit outta the d2 forum but that doesnt get anything accomplished because theres no activity in it. i didnt read all of this just the first few, but it didnt apply to spector cause there isnt anything to moderate

A moderator shouldn't just moderate IMO. They should be coming up with new ideas to spark activity, and keeping things up to date. Even with the Diablo 3 announcement, there has hardly been anything new happening in there, I mean it's kinda hard to do before the game comes out, but still. I view a moderator/sup mod as somebody being able to keep things new, fresh, interesting. If you aren't posting anything new or trying out new stuff, then what is your point at all?

Also, Spector has spurts of activity, he's off and off and off again with weekly rotations. Other that that he's an okay guy, not getting involved in Drama too much.
