Exercise can also get your metabolism going. You should consult a physician, because once every two-three days is not normal. Once every seven days means you have a severe rectal blockage and need treatment. You don't have any hemorhoids growing, do you?
the only thing i have in my knowledge to reference what exactly a hemroid is, is on ace ventura pet detective. Assuming a hemeroid is something growing from my ass im going to go ahead and say at this time, no... lol
Excersise is probably a key factor - im going to the military in < 5 months and i cant even do 10 pushups lol. Im going to start walking down to the corner store each morning to pick up a cup of coffee (dads suggestion). Im unemployed and all day sit on my ass on my computer or my couch i should really be heading down to the workout room and jog for a mile or so. Also jessifer's suggestion on activia was also 1 of my own. It does help to regulate yourself and is a very easy form of fiber to take down each night. Thanks guys for your suggestions - ill let you know how it works out for me.
Try getting a training regimen down. Do 100 pushups and situps each day; I usually do mine in increments of 25. Try walking around more, buy an exercise bike, or just plain old jog. Make sure not to overdue it at first, though. You'll end up burning yourself out. Once you get your fitness up try to find a pickup soccer or basketball game. Both can be a good conditioning tool, because you jog quite a bit as well as sprinting.
If you've just been sitting on your ass, then your 'blockage' may just be due to inactivity, but there are other factors that play in. The above suggestion was geared more toward your joining the military. Also, once you get your speed/fitness up, try to hit the gym and lift weights 3 or 4 times a week. It will make basic training much much easier for you.
