Four hours in, and it's good. Very good. Extremely good. You wouldn't believe the number of times I've thrown myself through the windscreen.

So far it's RRoD'd four of my friends 360s. How I laughed.

Civilization III for PC.

Radiata Stories for PS2. Good but not fantastic. I'm getting kind of tired of hating RPG protagonists.

Yikes! Thanks for the warning. I might just hold off until I get a PS3, then. Exactly how common is this?

Both systems have their problems - freezing issues, mostly - but I've not read of any PS3 owners who have had a console bricked by the game. If it does freeze, they just restart it and carry on.

To be honest, I think it's pot luck. I've been talking to a few 360 owners today who got the game last night, and they managed to play for a couple of hours before they went to bed, with no problems (well, a few framerate issues with the opening cutscenes, but that's about it).

You may be unlucky, you may not be.

Bricking sucks, though I've never seen it for myself, I just know it sucks.

I'm (still) playing Disgaea: Afternoon of Darkness. Up to 603-hours!

I honestly don't know if it's worth the risk of killing my 360.

That's so gay. Why would Microsoft release such a faulty product?

I haven't had any problems with my 360, though. I've had it since maybe January? I play it pretty much everyday without any errors.
