I'm thinking I misunderstood what you said, with the Bible quotes, but I'm not sure. It could be interpreted both ways, depending on if you Believe or not:

If you're a believer, God created man in His image.

If you're not, you're more likely to think that man created God in their image so they could identify with him and feel special.

Is that what you were saying?

That is what I was saying, yes. As I believe "God" is a man-made idea, I believe man made "God" in their image, not the other way around.
