Pepsi vs. Coke vs. MTN Dew vs. Vault

As I noted in a previous thread, iced tea is my drink of choice, but I do drink a considerable amount of Mt. Dew also.

I used to drink sweet tea when I was living in North Carolina, you could get it at any restaurant and my mom always had some made.

Here, though, I'm lacking the Mom part, and there's nowhere that you can order sweet tea. I could make my own, but that wouldn't make sense at all.

I hear that's a down South thing. My dad grew up in Georgia and South Carolina and they always had sweet tea.

I wouldn't really consider North Carolina down south, but it's considered part of the south.

Either way, I don't see why people just WOULDN'T have sweet tea. I mean, there are places that have tea, how hard is it for them to put some sugar in half of it when they make it?

They don't do it because people mostly drink sweet tea in certain regions, its mainly a southern thing.

WTF is sweet tea? Just sweetened tea? Like Nestea? That's no mystery...

Nestea almost always has lemon flavor added. That's disgusting.

Sweet tea is the same thing as iced tea, just with sugar.

Now, mind you, you can't add sugar to iced tea and call it sweet tea. You have to add the sugar while the tea is hot so it dissolves.

And why would you not add sugar to hot tea in the first place?

I hate tea for some reason.

McDonalds has sweet tea, and it's not just down South, because they had it in Baltimore when I was there for Otakon.

McDonald's should start serving hard liquor. I mean, they have coffee, juice, beer in some places, rotting tooth solution (soda), tea....

then I might actually go to a mcdonalds... except not
