Not necessarily. People will probably join the other side just for the debate aspect. I bet we have some straight-edge folks in here, though.

I will say it'll be an interesting debate.

I'd like democracy more myself ...I know half the people here are potheads =P. I'd probably be for legalization since the alternative would be sentencing drug offenders to death. I think that's the only other way we'll be able to control it some.

One thing I think would be interesting to debate would be the practice of eugenics. Perhaps next time.

The marijuana legality arguement is tired and boring. People still seem to think "democracy" as it exists here in the US is a good thing, though. i'd like to see that debate.
