So true. The whole country is getting into it man. All the celebritys are doing the athiest thing and liek they had to ban athiesism manuals from all the middle schools. Its freaking huge, and it just popped up recently, and it will soon dissapear. Ya athiesm is a fad... like YoYos!

If you don't believe in "God", and consider yourself an atheist, you are stupid. Saying "I don't believe in God, I am an atheist" is nonsensical, because you are rejecting a model of a higher power called "God". If you do not believe in "God", how can you quantify what this "God" is? It's quite simple, you can only reject "God" if you give that God qualities. By giving "God" qualities, you are implying that he exists. What you are really saying by being "atheist" is that you don't know what the fuck is out there, and it is impossible to be sure of the super natural. THIS IS NOT ATHEISM NOOB, LEARN TO PLAY. This is called being "Agnostic".

Organized religion should be abolished, end of story. I'll have my kids believing in Santa in a non-religious context, however. No jesus mumbo-jumbo, just presents for being good.

One of my best friends believes that we're all going to hell. He's really religious, and just because we're not, we are going to hell no question about it. Even if we are really good in life it doesn't matter, to hell we go. Oooooh, scary... I can't stand people getting all religious at me.

But are we really good people? Think about it. How many times do you tell little lies, talk behind someones back, etc, etc. All kinds of venial stuff. Sure, you don't murder people, or steal someone's identity, but why should you be entitled to a heavenly paradise? I'm not saying we are all damned to "Hell", but why does everyone think we are entitled to "Heaven""
