The Irish are funny.

And the Scottish history is quite fun. I'm ever so slightly Scottish too. Ancestors came over from Normandy with William the Conquerer, managed to piss off the Royal Families of both England and Scotland, end up being fought on all fronts, get the throne of Scotland for a few weeks, and have the original surname (Comyn) banned in Scotland. So they took the name of the farm and surrounding area - Lendrum.

There's also a County Lendrum in Ireland.

Now this I looked up years ago for an English project.

And yes, you're right. I have no life.
