Okay... well it's basically battlefield 1942 but with modernized weaponry. There are 2 modes, conquest and CTF. The most common is conquest. Each map has 5 or 6 strong points called "flags." You stand by them for a period of time until you have captured it. You also use these flags as spawn points of your choice. Once you control more points than the enemy, their tickets start to go down. Each team starts with somewhere between 400-500 tickets. Each respawn also takes a ticket. You can drive tons of vehicles ranging from a pickup truck to a helicopter to a boat. It's pretty sweet. It supports 24 people per game.

It's not mindless combat like Quake. It's all team-based objective games.

There are 2 modes, CTF which is self explanitory. And then there is conquest, which is the most common. There are strong points you must capture and use as spawn points and if you control more points than the enemy they lose about a ticket every 2 seconds.

Hmm, actually seems pretty interesting. I'd probably have to play solo shit to get acquainted with it at first, but the 24 people in a game sounds ridiculously fun!

You have to save up for the X360 before H3, though.

The PC version supports up to 48 or 64 man servers, IIRC, though most of them have lag issues. The most insane is running a high pop server on small maps...

Doesn't the PC version also have a more complex rank system where you unlock new guns and such?
