I used to be able to do a cube in like a minute, probably take me like 5 minutes now to remember the sequences and how to move pieces to where you want without fucking up the rest. It's pie once you know the method.
So this baby seal walks into a club.

each prism on the MPG spins around both directions.. the faces Spin around so the yellow would end up being where the Blue is..
it mite look easy when u see one but they are hard as a bitch

There was also a page with something where you would put the colors of one side in and it would plan out steps for it and show you.
They all use the same formula.

i once got three sides but thats the most then threw the thing against the wall. I spent like 4 days on it and was like fuck this
