You're not the only one who seems to take my things literally. Most people I know think that I say things literally...even when I'm not...it's weird.
I seem to have that problem in real life, too. I'm usually somewhat serious, but then when I try to make a joke or be sarcastic, no one really understands. I know from experience if I were a more friendly and joking person, people wouldn't take me as seriously when I need them to. So it's just a choice of how you want people to perceive you. Take the good with the bad.
