I wish I could kill this, for many reasons.

The least of which are that these are not combat NPCs, therefore their abilities are 100% speculation, which Zelaron Melee is not about. Zelaron Melee has always seemed to be about these characters using their abilities to the fullest (excluding endgame abilities) to defeat another in a unique way, on a battlefield that may help or hinder their abilities.

Speculation is made upon their tactics and exact order of combat, not on their abilities and statistics.

It contains fictional characters and has them fighting. It's not really spam, so I can't justifiably close it.

Just because it sucks doesn't mean it's trashable.

Yeah, but he's completely made up the stats on them, their moves, and everything.

That's like speculating on the stats/abilities of the random Innkeeper or God being in any game.

I mean, if that's not against the rules, then no biggie. I was under the impression that everything used had to be well-known and provable.

The only rules are that you can't flame another member and you can't spam. His initial post seems fairly well-thought, regardless of whether or not it's bullshit. He didn't post a string of obscenities or jibberish, so it's not technically spam.

On top of that, even if he made all that nonsense up, it's still got a structure and an argumentative base. You can still debate the outcome of the fight, it's just based upon the standards that he has set as opposed to the standards set by the game. That's lame and stupid, but not against the rules.

I can't, in good conscience, close this based on the fact that it's lame. If that was the case, I'd be closing threads left and right in the rest of my forums.
