Sure, Chruser. I'll get started on that again as soon as possible. I don't see how, though, people who've never been here would get the news anyway. How about removing the seven character rule for a start, at least from the chat forum and test forums.

Making the 7 char rule count in only certain forums would require a lot of file editing :/.

Good idea. Also I want to know why some users are qualified as "senior members" and some are junior. What determines this? Because there doesn't seem to be any consistancy to it.
People who haven't been to the site before find the news through searchs, ie google/yahoo. Im sure there are other ways too.

Thanks WW, but compare my activity and longevity to Deaths, I've noticed this w/ other members as well, like I said it doesn't seem very consistant. Not that I care much, just seems like something is not working correctly.

It's quite simple. There are no demotions. Death has been at 70% activity, while you have never reached 50%. Remember also that the board was much more active in the past, and that members' activity is going to drop with overall board activity drop.

I've even reached 100%, heh.
