Get lots of little candles, preferably multicoloured, and melt them all down, separably. Get a can of some sort, and punch a hole in the bottom. Thread some string through it and tie it to a stick to rest on top of the can. Pour all the multicoloured waxes in strategic orders into the can, and leave to cool. When cool, cut the string off the stick, and try and get the candle out of the can.

Et Volia. A home-made physics ornament.

wait can you explain how that is related to physics?

I am assuming you know all about convection currents, heat conduction and heat radiation etc. yes?

Candles give off heat. If you put a lit candle below a spiral, the convection currents creeated by the heat from the candle cause the spiral to spin and so on.

The three heat movements can probably be explained using a candle.

Look at these sites. If your teacher asks you about it, just brag this, and look like you know something.

Make a fucking atom model like your friend moron.... Its not like your teacher assigned you what to make/knows that you know your friend is making one.

I can almost guarantee that the tree will be full of atoms (and nothing else) anyway, especially if his friend told more people about his idea... so that might be the smart thing to do, at this point.

Oh oh. Make...Astatine...no...xenon. I know, make an atom model of two elements reacting, how bout...ceasium and...something else.

Oh wait, that's chemistry.

Erm...I think I'm gonna stick with the psychadelic (sp???) candle.
