Make a fucking atom model like your friend moron.... Its not like your teacher assigned you what to make/knows that you know your friend is making one.

I can almost guarantee that the tree will be full of atoms (and nothing else) anyway, especially if his friend told more people about his idea... so that might be the smart thing to do, at this point.
