Tommorow I will call AOL. Man, I know they will try to make me stay with them. Last time, I was trying to cancel AOL and they didn't leave me - they offered me 2 months free. I was a sucker for free AOL. I tried to cancel like three times, but the same thing happened. Oh well, this time I will not accept their offer.
Make sure you get the customer rep's name and such, and call back later to make sure you are REALLY canceled - they'll probably just say something like "Sure, we'll remove your account within 24 hours" and just ignore the fact that you even called. I've heard way too many horror stories about AOL..
