Uhh you would kill them? Your wife would hate you forever, and you would most likely be in prison for the rest of your life. Wouldent it be easier for you to just ignore them or leave them? Why do you need to kill them?
I mean I dont see how that is logical at all, no matter how much you hate those kinds of people. I think the way you are approaching this situation is stupid and some would say you grew up wrong or did not have a proper education. If you Do strongly believe the way you do, the smart and logical thing to do would to Ignore these people, not to harm them or get involved with them in any way; just ignore them. You hating them publicly, wanting them dead, bring it up constantly is not going to get rid of them and it just makes you look like an idiot. He comes from a much different culture than we are used to. They killed people because they were simply different in the aspects of sexuality. To him, people with a slightly different orientation are lesser beings who don't deserve life. i find this needs to change, but I can't make him change simply because I disagree with him and find his beliefs inhumane. He lives in America and if he kills his kids because they are bi/gay/lesbian/transgendered, he'll find himself in jail faster than a whore on a young man with millions.
I edited my post above to include more but it would seem that if his culture really feels like that then there's nothing we can do. Religion is one of, if not, the most powerful force in some peoples lives (We have seen this with events involving hard-core fanatics) and it does not matter what the moral or logical thing to do is; they will side with what they think their culture or religion would want. Of course most people or a lot of people would easily label things like that stupid from a moral or logical viewpoint, that does not apply when it comes to cultural or religious beliefs. But the point is, this is a gaming forum and he can keep some of this to himself.
Well, the thing is, culture can influence religion and vice versa. I have met several Muslims in America that are ok with gay/lesbian/bisexual/transgendered people. My best friend is a Muslim and he's fine with me. He even encourages me. Now, osmoses is from the Middle East. They kill people for being glbt. Just the way they are. It's more of the culture there than the religion. Also, I think he should keep that kind of stuff to himself...
