Also,
Dont waste the runes unless the shield is ethereal, elite, and has at least 30+% to all resist.
Some people go for 45%+ Enhanced Damage also.
Since it is a property of the shield itself, it may increase the BASE smite damage, giving it a much better damage output. I'll see if I can check on that later.
