Me and my Girlfriend are unemployed, and have been somewhat poor our whole lives. But, we've been together for almost 4 years, and haven't then slightest intention of splitting.

Of course. My and my gal have been talking about marriage for at least a year. It won't be any time in the near future, although if it were solely up to her we'd be married right now(at least she says so, I really don't believe she'd marry me right now, she's not that stupid.)

Well, it's not imposing if they want to share it with you, now is it? A decent person will do all that they can to rectify the conditions. Following that logic, you couldn't be married if you were poor and a decent person...
