Post Important Note for ALL strats.

As ive been reading through all of the strats and noticed that people actually give specific numbers for how many of a certain unit to build. This is quite often a bad thing the more you progress into the game. First thing you need to do is ALWAYS have plenty of workers. Of course there is no specific number thats right or wrong. Experiment with the number of units you produce and never underestimate ANY unit.

One unit thats always underestimated is the Terran Vulture. What i like to do when im fighting people i know will use ground is make 10 vultures while making a good bit of units thats attack both air and ground for defence as i set up the 30 land mines the vultures have. After im done placing the land mines i send the vultures to attack my enemy, yes they are going on a suicide mission therfore theres no need in waiting to upgrade them. After they all die you will have 30 land mines and the 10 vultures you made, since they died you have used up no supply. GG ground.

You should NEVER EVER (unless in teh very begining of the game, with probes/drones/scv's etc) have set amout of units to get. You have to be flexible. Always change the number of units you get randomly to consistantly confuse your opponent.

Eh, wasting 10 vultures, what if its against zerg and they go muts?

It is a known fact, that no matter what race you are, ALWAYS build more peons, NEVER stop. Send 1/2 from your last expansion to a new one, over and over, send the ones from depleted mineral fields to scout / to entire new ones.

Yes, vultures are underestimated, but, they are only effective in about 2-3 situations (early game mineral harassment against terran, speed vults to harass toss minerals, and against zerglings)

Vultures are also quite good in 3vs3. Pop out about 30, drop thier mines at the coke point and in random places in your base and your safe from most ground units. Also a good way to backstab is massivly build vultures and place mines everywhere in your base and your so called teams base then unhostile, watch the fire works
