I cant believe you guys think the Mavs are better than the Spurs. Mavs are too offensive minded and throw up too many 3pointers and dont get to the foul line much. In the playoffs, it's all about the half court game which the spurs are much better suited for with duncan and robinson. Playing the ball on the blocks more also leads to more free throws which is another important aspect of playoff basketball. The Spurs ranked #3 in the league in free throw attempts per game. The Mavs also do not play defense as well as the Spurs although the Mavs did have some good moments on defense in their sweep of the T-wolves.

The stat that tells it all, the Spurs took the season series from the Mavs 3-1.
