SWG Questions

Okay, I'm pretty sure I'm going to get this game since it looks awesome, but I want to you guys to help me with a few things first.

1. Can someone with a 56k modem still have fun with the game?

2. Is it too late to start the game without permanently being behind or considered a newbie?

3. Does the game save your account info even if you can't pay for every month in a row?

4. Can you change your allegience mid-game, or are you stuck with the one you choose in the beginning?

5.Can you change your skin mid-game?

6. Is it neccesary to have alot of money, ro could you live the life of a poor man.

1. I would say probably not, but everyone is so laggy from fucking Dathomir anyway that it feels like 14.4k

2. As long as you're not going into Crafting (Weaponsmith, Armorsmith or Architect) then you'll be fine, you can't become a crafter as a newbie you'll get assraped.

3. It saves for about three months I believe so going every other month is possible.

4. You don't choose a faction (Imperial or Rebel) in the beginning at all, you do missions for one of the sides to gain points with them, then when you have enough you join that side. As far as I know you can switch but it's really hard.

5. You have to find a player who is an "Image Designer" (it's a profession, like a bountry hunter is) who can change your character's appearance.

6. Well you're better off with money, but soon they are making it harder to get money so more people will be poor.
