Haven't played the game, though the show is cool. Ahh, Cartoon Network...

It was fun when I first got it, but then I started to find it repetitive and got a little bored of it. My friend is now borrowing it.

He just reached 20 and everybody else (all the guys you can recruit in part one, actually) are above 15.

I'm on pheta server now. Just started hacking gates. BTW, if you see a post on the in-game message board about a special weapon, you'll probably get a character there if you give them the weapon.

My current party of choice is Kite, BlackRose and Natsume (another Twin Blade), but Natsume gets traded for Mistral or Elk often.

BTW, the whole show .hack//SIGN (Tsukasa's story, basically) is just a prequel to the storyline in the game. The game really makes more sense for people like me who have seen the entire show.

It doesnt have to make sense to like it. I havent played it in a few weeks my kite is lvl 19 i think and mistreal and blackrose are both lvl 18...i find it best to always stick with the first players you are assigned with i the beginning of games where you party because they will be important in the end and its a waste of time to go lvl someone you wont need in the end

I meant it made more sense. They do a good job by making it unnecessary.

The show does give a few clues to how the plot progresses. I can already guess how Mia fits into the picture.

It matters not whether you win or lose; what matters is whether I win or lose.

Are there 4 parts in total...?

I'm still deciding whether or not I should get them.

What about games where you have to split parties apart? For example, FF3, you have 3 different quests to go on with parties. And also, on several games, you have to have several groups of characters to attack a final boss.

Umm, they're releasing each part over a 3 month period.

And that strategy won't work for part 2 at least. You get stuck with two of the suckiest characters in the game for one dungeon.

I tended to look at the game like it was PSO at first. I never really liked it bacuse of all the cheating and hacking people would stoop to on their Char. but after playing the game i came to like it. I think I like a simulated online world better then a real one. Scary thought! Fake people are just so much more easy to get alonge with.
