Diablo II USEast Realm Attacked

The USEast Diablo II realm suffered a denial-of-service attack for several minutes. The attack caused players to receive a "Realm down" error. The attack has been blocked and USEast is working once again. The origins of the attack are being investigated.

There is a way someone told me about that seems to work when u get realm down from this so called "Blocked Attack."
I get the realm down after saving and quitting a game almost every single time... I found out from a friend of mine there is a way that seems to get u back on...
When u get back to the character selection screen and get the RD message, Go up into the upper right corner and click "Change Realm", and then click on USeast, but before it has time to refresh (basically right after u click USeast) click cancel. Your character selection screen will refresh again and it should be back on!! It has worked everytime so far for me, so let me know how u guys make out. Good luck

LOL man im gonna try that next time i get a rd, i fucking hate when i get rd, and it is happening way too damn often

just click on new character and click back that always works

Dude half the internet was down a few days ago about midnight.

i know...i was on at saturday night...all night...and i was playing..on sunday morning i got kicked off less...and the rd doesn't come much...i spammed so many times in the channels to go into character create screen then exit until charcters appear...everyone thanked me a ton...!!!i was happy....lol
